The Scriptures: CD-ROM Edition 1.1.This CD-ROM contains both the Standard 1.1 and Resource 1.1 versions. Standard includes the full English text of the Bible, Book of Mormon, Doctrine and Covenants, and Pearl of Great Price. It also includes the following scripture study aids: Bible Dictionary, Topical Guide, chapter headings and footnotes, Guide to the Scriptures (not available in print in English), selections from the Joseph Smith Translation, cross-references to the standard works, and maps and photographs. Users can search, print, or copy these resources. The CD-ROM also includes the triple combination and study aids in Cebuano, Finnish, French, German, Ilokano, Italian, Norwegian, Portuguese, Romanian, Spanish, and Tagalog. The Resource version includes all that the Standard has plus additional research tools. Those tools include the Old Testament in Hebrew, the New Testament in Greek, lexicons, word frequency reports, bookmarks, color highlighters, the ability to make unlimited marginal notes, parallel columns for studying the scriptures in several languages, and more powerful search capabilities.
